Discussion of or in-character enactments of "cybering" of sexually explicit material

Discussion of or in-character enactments of graphic violence or the physical act of bloodletting (you may discuss aspects relevant to bloodletting)

· hate speech (e.g. racial, ethnic, sexist, and religious slurs)

· promotion of or engaging in certain illegal activities, specifically, drugs, drug paraphernalia, computer hacking, copyright violations, rape or solicitation of a minor

· impersonation of another person, SSVC staff or SSVC members by either screen name or self-representation (e.g. faking a screen name by using similar-looking characters, or claiming to hold an official title or position relating to the site)

· Slang is monitored on ssvc. We are tired of trying to decipher posts made by people that post messages that contain things like “ur” instead of you’re or you are, or “plz” instead of please. Not speaking fluent English or being able to spell is one thing but slang is making me sick. I will no longer tolerate these types of posts and will remove you from SSVC if you continue to give me a headache with this.

· Harassment of a member or screen name (e.g. flaming or continued personal attacks on the SSVC Forums and "harassment"

· spamming through commercial advertising, repeated posts, or off-topic content by word or intent to the writing forums or to the members emails

· Attempts to reregister a banned screen name a variation of a banned name, or declarations under a new screen name that you are "really" the banned name or attempts to resubscribe to an e-mail list under another address after being put on REVIEW by the Administrative staff of SSVC.

· Attempts to reregister a screen name or variation of a name, of a member that has been terminated. Such an act will warrant contacting your ISP and reporting you to the proper department.

· Carrying baggage from another website is not tolerated at SSVC. You may complain about or discuss other websites but you are prohibited from posting names, screen names and url’s without discussing it with the owner of SSVC.

· Acting out your personal love life anywhere on vampirecommunity.com is not allowed. Arguments and disagreements are not to be bantered back and forth in the journals or the forums of ssvc.

· Condoning, discussing, threatening or mentioning previous attempts of suicide is strictly forbidden here at SSVC. While we do care about you, we insist that if you are feeling this bad then you need to seek professional help. Please see your physician but do not post it here. It will get you banned.

These disruptive behaviors are grounds for removal; SSVC site administrators are the final judges of whether the member’s behavior qualifies as disruption.

Our moderators can't be everywhere at once. Therefore, if you witness actions in SSVC Community believes harms another member, or damages SSVC Community reputation, or violates SSVC Community or some third-party's rights, please make a note of the time/place where the event occurred and contact an administrator, moderator, or the owner/founder immediately.

Chatroom Guidelines

Please be kind to everyone here. Obviously there are those who will not agree with what you have to say all the time and vice versa, but keep it pleasant. Voicing your opinion on the matter is fine, just keep it clean. I don't think it needs further explanation, you know when you are being rude. If it becomes a problem then the individual will be banned.

SSVC is about vampires, obviously. You know whether or not you are old enough to be here and read the material that is presented. There could be posts that some may find objectional, so bear that in mind, some things discussed could be of an adult nature. Again I say that you know whether or not you should be here.

Any chat room behaviour which can be considered threatening or harassing in nature is strictly forbidden. This means: don't say bad things about them, don't attack their character, race, heritage, etc. If you disagree with someone, respond to the subject, not the person. It also means there is no sexual conversations allowed in the public chatrooms. For those of you wishing to engage in a little more "adult" chatting you must use the playground. I will be password protecting this room soon and you will need to PM me for access.

If you are having a problem with another chatter, please a moderator or admin so they can handle it. Don't try to fight it out in the open chat room, it solves nothing and just makes other chatters feel uneasy. If no moderator is present, please use the ignore feature.

Do not bother anyone with excessive private messages, especially staff members, or by continually sending them files that they may not want.

Always be courteous and ask before you send any files. Do not transmit or facilitate distribution of content that is harmful, abusive, racially or ethnically offensive, vulgar, sexually explicit, or in a reasonable person's view, objectionable. There is no place in these rooms where hate speech is tolerated.

Do not flood (send one after another) the room with sounds or large popup graphics, pings, or time/version requests, making it nearly impossible for people to talk. It can result in your being kicked from the server for excessive 'flooding.' It also makes it impossible to speak with guests that may be entering the room.

Do not type in ALL CAPS (capital letters) in the chat room. It is very distracting and hard to read for many people.

Do not advertise goods or services or other chat rooms in our chat room.

It is the administrator (Silkie's) discretion whether a warning should be issued.

We reserve the right to kick and/or ban anyone from our chat room that does not follow our guidelines.

How Breaking The Rules Will Be Handled

1'st Offence: You will be spoken to in a public forum on the message board and asked to stop your actions.

2'nd Offence: You will be spoken to in private and told what part of the Rules you are breaking and to stop your actions.

3rd Offence: You will be kicked and banned from SSVC. Not allowed back in!!

Also know there are energy vampires everywhere, including here at SSVC. There are some that will try to get energy by starting a huge fight or name calling ect. If you do not take their bait, they get no energy from this and often times will tire of trying to attack you. So do NOT FEED the NEGATIVITY. *IGNORE IT* and go about your business. If it becomes abusive then please report it to Silkie immediately through private messages.

Journal Guidelines

The journals at ssvc are not a place to air your dirty laundry. It is not a place to post arguments or love/hate affairs. It is a place to write your daily thoughts, good or bad, about life in general and even to some degree your life. We do not tolerate statements made about someone even when used in conjunction with “You know who you are” or any variation of that statement. All site administrators have the ability to remove not only journal entries but also to terminate the member who posted it if needs be.

We hope you enjoy your visit with us and that it is enjoyable and benificial to YOUR OWN development, and that you join our family. This is a welcoming group, with good intentions and all are welcome who come with the same intentions.
